Very Berry Yogurt Popsicles from My Kitchen Wand

Very Berry Yogurt Popsicles

So easy, so quick, so flexible and so much healthier.

You will need:

1/2 cup fresh fruit (or frozen) I used blackberries but other berries or a mixture will work as well

1 cup yoghurt, I used honey flavoured Greek but you can choose something different

1 Tbsp. rose flavoured honey (I made some earlier this year but if it is not sitting handily on a shelf, regular will do or maple or agave syrup)

Place berries in a bowl and using a fork squish the berries a little. No need to puree just break down the fruit so it will be easier to mix. Add sweetener and yogurt and stir until combined. The honey will mix best if it is warm and liquid like, too thick and it will not play well with others.

Spoon into popsicle molds and freeze for an hour. Add wooden sticks and return to the freezer until solid.

I am not crazy about the popsicle handles on my mold. They fit nicely over the tops of the mold and I could put them in and forget about the popsicles until they are frozen but I always end up heading back to the freezer about an hour in to pop in the wooden sticks. If you like your popsicle handles, pop them in and forget about these treats until they are ready to share.
